PC Game Checker compares hardware information with game requirements to estimate compatibility. The site can work in browser mode with limited data and, if you install PCGC Agent, with more precise local hardware data.
We do not sell personal data. We use information to operate the site, improve the experience, protect the service and answer requests.
Information we may process
Technical data: browser type, detected operating system, browser memory estimate, selected language, calculated performance and technical errors.
Optional agent data: CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, processes, temperature and load. This data is used to show metrics and calculate compatibility. The agent is designed to communicate with the site on the user's own device.
Usage data: pages viewed, games opened, trailers played, filters used and events needed for security, diagnostics and catalog improvement.
Contact data: if you write to [email protected], we process your email and message to respond.
External sources
The catalog may include data, images, trailers, links or metadata from sources such as Steam, RAWG, itch.io, official developer sites and other public providers.
When you open external links or play content served by third parties, those third parties may receive browser technical data under their own policies.

Legal basis and retention
We process data needed to provide the service, answer requests and protect the platform. Where non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used, consent or available settings apply.
We keep technical data and logs only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, audit and protect the site, unless law requires another period.

You can use the site without installing PCGC Agent, though some metrics will be limited.
