Description

Z.O.N.E.O.U.T is a quirky 2D puzzle platformer that plunges players into the anxious imagination of Nick, a high school student facing the dreaded Zuckercorn High's Overcomplicated, Nerve-wracking, Exam Of Unsolvable Tasks—better known as a math test. As stress takes over, Nick mentally zips into the exam itself, where he encounters historical math legends Sir Isaac Newton and Sir Gottfried Leibniz. Their invention, the Fluxion Capacitor 3000, has malfunctioned, unleashing a horde of zombie-like mutant math functions across a surreal landscape. Armed with wits and platforming skills, Nick must climb his way to the summit of Mt. Calculus, the chaotic nest of these rogue functions, to recover the stolen blueprints and restore order. Packed with humor and clever nods to calculus, Z.O.N.E.O.U.T turns mathematical mayhem into an imaginative adventure. This creative indie title was the first runner-up for the 2013 Foundation Prize.
