Description

Yokai Crawl is a roguelike adventure rooted in Japanese mythology, where players take on the role of the Hero of Yamato to purge a land overrun by darkness and demonic yokai. The game features a single, procedurally generated map teeming with enemies, offering varied runs through multiple character progression paths. As you defeat foes, you'll level up and unlock powerful upgrades to tackle increasingly dangerous threats. Your ultimate goal: locate the key to the demon's portal, summon its guardian, and destroy it to lift the shadow from Yamato. Simple controls make it easy to jump in—use keyboard or gamepad to move, attack, and navigate menus. Developed by Miguel Ángel Linares Herreros (programming) and Santiago Orozco (art), Yokai Crawl delivers a compact, replayable experience steeped in folklore. Will you rise as the hero the land needs?
