The game unfolds over four rounds: The Tragic Roundabout, Lost The Plot, Im-Poster Syndrome, and Risky Quizness. In The Tragic Roundabout, players take turns discussing different parts of a fictional film, weaving convincing details to fool others. At the end, everyone votes on who actually saw the movie. Points are awarded for correctly identifying viewers, successfully convincing others you've seen the film, and especially for pulling off the perfect lie—if you bluff your way through unseen, you earn bonus points. For example, guessing three people correctly gives you 3 points, plus 2 for convincing others, and another 2 if you lied successfully—totaling 7.
