Description

Wuxin Trainee is a deck-building card game developed in Unity, blending the ancient philosophy of Wuxing with strategic cardplay inspired by Magic: The Gathering. In battle, players harness five elemental forces—GOLD, WOOD, WATER, FIRE, and DUST—each tied to unique effects: FIRE deals heavy damage at the cost of health, WATER manipulates Brain Energy (BE) and draws cards, WOOD restores life, GOLD triggers multi-hit attacks and card draw, and DUST provides defense and protection. Cards require matching elemental forces to be played, while BE allows you to reshape those elements using "Consider" or "Think" actions. The game features single-element, multi-element, and non-element cards, encouraging dynamic strategies. Build powerful combos by mastering elemental cycles—like the WATER-FIRE-WOOD chain—and adapt your deck on the fly. Press [ESC] to access the quick menu. Note: a save system is not yet implemented. Wuxin Trainee offers a fresh twist on tactical card combat with deep elemental synergy.
