In *World Bub*, Piko awakens in the mystical Bobolo River—a realm tied to the afterlife—where he's chosen by Chilzby to compete in the high-stakes World Bub Tournament. With control of the river on the line, Piko fights to defeat his longtime rival, Ducklin, and settle a bitter score. As a strategic deck-building adventure, the game blends tactical combat with RPG elements, letting players upgrade Piko's powers using bubble tea cards and special abilities. Along the journey, Piko gains allies, battles fierce opponents, and unlocks new strengths to dominate the tournament. Created in just one week by Steve and Michelle Rakar using RPG Maker MZ for Global Game Jam 2025, *World Bub* embraces the theme "Bubble" through its aquatic setting and water-based mechanics.
