Step into the wilderness with *Wildfire Prevention VR*, a hands-on virtual reality experience designed to teach fire safety in the great outdoors. Set against the backdrop of California's wildfire risks, this HTC Vive-exclusive simulation guides players through four essential stages: choosing a safe campfire spot, preparing the fire pit, building the fire responsibly, and properly extinguishing it. Inspired by Smokey the Bear's safety guidelines, the game emphasizes real-world prevention techniques to avoid accidental wildfires. Using intuitive motion controls, players interact with campsite tools and follow audio prompts to complete each step safely. Developed by Jessica Vega and her team at CSU Monterey Bay as part of a computer science capstone project, *Wildfire Prevention VR* combines education and immersion to promote responsible outdoor habits. Play, learn, and help prevent wildfires—one virtual campfire at a time.
