What's Up Grandma is a quirky, bingo-inspired roguelike developed by four young creators (average age: 3.9?) for the 2025 WHS game jam. Step into the shoes of Up, a melancholic protagonist who's feeling down—literally and emotionally. To lift their spirits, you'll face off against the real source of their stress: Grandma, in a high-stakes, turn-based game of bingo with a twist. Each round blends luck, strategy, and chaotic charm as you battle to out-bingo your opponent in increasingly absurd scenarios. Every sound and musical note was custom-made for the game, with standout contributions from the unmistakably dashing Len Suzaki. Tied cleverly to the jam's theme "Up is down," the game flips traditional emotions and logic on their head. It might sound strange, but trust us—it all clicks once you start playing. Victory means more than just yelling "Bingo!"—it's about overcoming generational tension, one daub at a time.
