Waverunner is an innovative endless runner that turns your jugabilidad into a musical experience, where timing your jumps creates dynamic melodies. Designed as an accessible form of musical improvisation, the game can be played using just the Space Bar or enhanced with MIDI input—when using MIDI, players must press keys that match the current chord in the song. Chord names featuring an "S" indicate sharps (e.g., CS = C#). More than just a rhythm runner, Waverunner integrates the Video Game Voter Network diversifier, ensuring diverse representation by randomly assigning playable characters based on real-world demographic statistics for ethnicity, gender, and age. Created during Global Game Jam 2017 by a collaborative team, Waverunner blends jugabilidad, music, and social awareness into a unique interactive experience.
