Wanderers of the Wastes is a turn-based card game set in a fractured fantasy world shaped by the lingering energy of three dead gods. Players control a duo of Wanderers—individuals who've harnessed divine remnants—battling corrupted Remnant Stalkers, failed seekers twisted by failed ascension. With 13 levels and six unique characters to unlock—each featuring a custom deck and health pool—team synergy is key to survival. Progress unlocks new characters through boss encounters, though a debug option allows immediate access to all content for testing. Originally a solo project, the game has evolved with quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and added content since its early footage. Built with assets from free font libraries, the Unreal Marketplace, and Epidemic Sound, Wanderers of the Wastes offers a focused, strategic experience rooted in myth and decay.
