Description

VRolleyball is a unique virtual reality sports experience designed for the Leap Motion 3D Jam, requiring a Leap Motion controller mounted on an Oculus Rift DK2 with Oculus runtime v0.7 or v0.8 on Windows. Blending elements of volleyball, baseball, pinball, and Pong, the game challenges players to use hand motions to "vrolley" balls into walls matching their color. Score by hitting correct-colored walls—32 points wins—but if the ball strikes the wrong color, the pitcher gains a point. For optimal play, stand up and move your whole body within the Leap Motion's field of view, avoiding overreaching. Always ensure your play area is clear to prevent accidents. Controls include Space or R to recenter, hand gestures to navigate menus, and Enter to start. Developed by Seven Hills Games, VRolleyball features programming by Greg Aring, art by Hadar Silverman, music by Zach Murphy, and sound design by Colin Kemper.
