Voxel Racer is a fast-paced arcade racing game built with Unity3D and styled entirely using Magica Voxel for a unique blocky aesthetic. Take control and speed down an endless track, dodging incoming cars while collecting power-ups to boost your survival and score. What sets Voxel Racer apart is its reactive shield mechanic: when you get hit, you don't lose a life immediately—instead, you gain a temporary shield that lets you smash through oncoming vehicles. The more cars you destroy, the faster you go and the higher your points climb. Three power-ups help you stay in the race: the Laser clears all cars ahead, the Shield grants temporary invincibility for aggressive takedowns, and the Repair restores a lost life. Created solo over several months, the game offers a simple yet addictive challenge with room for improvements. Despite some rough edges, Voxel Racer delivers quick, satisfying runs full of chaotic speed and retro charm.
