Void Coefficient

Description

Void Coefficient is a fast-paced space racing game developed in just three days for the jamDNA 2 game jam. Race through floating rings as quickly as possible, aiming to beat your own best times in increasingly intense runs. The target completion time is displayed in the menu, and a countdown begins once you launch into the course. Along the way, collect glowing green spirit gems to fill your spirit meter and activate Spirit Speed Up for a crucial boost. Navigate with precision using a directional arrow that points toward the next ring. Some rings are locked, requiring you to shoot Fire Balls to open them—but be cautious, as firing overheats your ship's nuclear reactor. Overheating leads to explosion, ending your run. While obstacles won't destroy you, they'll slow your momentum. Master movement, timing, and heat management to surpass your previous records. Controls are simple: left or right mouse button to shoot, space to fire, and mouse movement to aim. Every asset was crafted from scratch during the jam. Victory demands more than speed—it demands perfection.
