Videorganismo

Description

Videorganismo is a virtual exhibition featuring 15 video artworks created by students from the "Cinema and Audiovisual" course at Universidade Estadual do Paraná / Faculdade de Artes do Paraná (UNESPAR-FAP). Developed during the first semester of 2020 under the guidance of professor Aricia Machado, each piece stems from a central question: If my organism were a video, what would it look like? Students explored this idea by examining rhythm, sound, texture, reproduction, lifespan, and voice, transforming bodily metaphors into audiovisual expressions. The exhibition was conceived as a response to social isolation, reimagining traditional display spaces through a digital environment. Curated in collaboration with artist and curator Flávio Carvalho, the virtual layout enhances the immersive experience, blending art and technology. Videorganismo invites viewers into a sensory journey where bodies become moving images, and inner life takes cinematic form.
