VHS: Very Haunted Scene is a retro-styled, 2-player co-op survival horror game that blends 90s nostalgia with supernatural thrills. Step into the roles of Olivia and Breakfast, two paranormal investigators mentored by the eccentric Puke, as you explore haunted locations like the eerie Cinema. Armed with cameras and ghost-hunting gear, you must document spirits, complete objectives, and banish the undead before making a frantic escape in your surveillance van. The game combines tense, Resident Evil-inspired exploration with a vibrant, Ghostbusters-like aesthetic, featuring low-poly character models and richly detailed pre-rendered environments. Work together using classic tank controls to solve puzzles, capture ghosts on film, and unlock higher scores through optional challenges. Developed by a talented team from NAD-UQAC as their entry for the 2026 Ubisoft Game Lab Competition, VHS: Very Haunted Scene delivers a unique twist on cooperative horror.
