Description

In *Veggie Vampire!*, Alma, a vampire with a quirky twist, battles her instincts to pursue her true passion: red apples. But there's a catch—her vampiric nature craves human blood, making every bite a test of willpower. Players must press Space or Enter when the white fang aligns with the blue apple icon to feed Alma's love for apples. As the game progresses, the icon moves faster, shrinks in size, and the fang speeds up, increasing the challenge. Developed entirely by a solo creator using Godot, the game features original art, animations, music, and sound effects, with typography from Google's Cherry Bomb One font. Created for Solo Dev Jam #11 on itch.io, *Veggie Vampire!* explores the theme "Everything Has A Cost" by pitting desire against necessity in a whimsical, Adventure Time-inspired world. How long can Alma resist her nature?
