In Upcard Writ, you step into the courtroom as a cunning legal strategist, playing cards to balance four crucial resources: Integrity (⚖️), Panache (🎩), Eye Witness (👁️), and Forensic Evidence (🔍). Your goal? Carefully place six cards so all resources land within the green target range. Each turn, choose one card from a hand of five, managing both regular cards and powerful Lawyer Cards that bring unique bonuses or abilities—read their effects carefully! Use simple controls to navigate your hand and played cards, then confirm your choice to shape your case. After six rounds, the court tallies your results, judging your success. Developed by Alec Troemel and whaies for Ludum Dare 54, Upcard Writ blends clever card mechanics with courtroom flair in a compact, stylish package made with TIC-80 and written in the Janet language.
