The Thing at the Window
Is a short horror experience set in a remote Midwestern farmhouse during a fierce storm. You play as a teenager left alone while your father heads out of town. The game’s atmosphere relies heavily on flickering lights and sudden loud noises to build tension. It’s currently in alpha, so expect rough edges, but the core jugabilidad is solid. Playing in the dark with headphones is highly recommended for full immersion. The audio is intentionally intense, so keep the volume up to catch important cues. The house runs on a gas generator in the basement, which you can refuel using a nearby tank. Wooden boards from a recent barn renovation are available to barricade windows. Three nights of escalating horror await as the Thing tries to break in. Stay alert—something is watching outside.
