Description

Shadow Empire is a deep, turn-based 4X wargame that blends military strategy with procedural generation and role-playing elements. You take control of a small nation's supreme ruler, aiming to reclaim a devastated planet in a dark, alien future. The game challenges you to manage military conquests, delicate diplomacy, and the nation's budget. You'll recruit and oversee governors and commanders, build the economy, and develop infrastructure, with every decision shaping your empire's fate. Complex systems force tough choices in response to events, leader demands, or external pressures from cults and crime syndicates. Stratagems let you craft crisis responses or create growth opportunities. Leaders with over 40 skills can be recruited as governors, council directors, or advisors, and they can gain feats to boost stats. Political systems like parliaments or politburos evolve over time, voting on laws that impact jugabilidad. Diplomacy with neighbors allows you to coerce minor regimes into vassalage or negotiate with major powers.
