Description

In a distant future, humanity faces extinction on a dying Earth, embarking on a perilous journey into the enigmatic Psychosphere. The exiles, now calling themselves the Spirits, lead the last survivors aboard colossal arks toward a promised New Earth. Guided by these self-proclaimed spiritual leaders, the journey spans centuries, navigating hostile realms connected by portals forming the Chain of Worlds. However, internal strife and tyranny fracture the unity of the exodus. New powers emerge: the expansionist Empire and the secretive Harkbacks, each with conflicting visions for humanity's future. While the Harkbacks cling to the hope of resurrecting old Earth, the Empire pursues a hidden agenda, building an empire through automated bases known as Vice Frames. The Emperor, rejecting both old and new worlds, secretly develops the Mechanical Spirit—a powerful machine designed to uncover new realms. Yet, only the Spirits' mortal reach grants them access to these discoveries. Now, a Vice Frame experiment awakens the Mechanical Messiah.
