No Longer Home
Follows Bo and Ao, two queer, non-binary students navigating life after university. As they prepare to leave their shared flat in South London, cultural and bureaucratic barriers force Ao to return to Japan, leaving Bo behind in England. The game captures their emotional journey through quiet moments, late-night talks, and everyday routines—BBQs, video games, and shared memories. Players explore their living space, uncovering personal items that reveal their hopes, frustrations, and connections. A new flatmate, Lu, a multi-eyed, animal-like character, adds depth to their dynamic. Inspired by the developers’ own experiences of separation and collaboration, the game reflects themes of identity, belonging, and resilience. It’s a heartfelt exploration of friendship and self-discovery, set against the backdrop of a changing world. This intimate narrative invites players to reflect on what home truly means. The story resonates with authenticity and vulnerability.
