Myosotis: My Life Is Not Yours to Take
In *Myosotis: My Life Is Not Yours to Take*, players step into a haunting narrative where grief and mystery collide. After the tragic death of your ex-boyfriend, Ethan, you awaken in the afterlife with a singular goal: uncover the truth behind his murder. Driven by sorrow, confusion, and anger, you begin haunting Ethan, only to discover you’re not alone in your pursuit. The game unfolds through 20,000 words, offering two distinct endings shaped by your choices. Unique features include a tooltip system that lets you analyze both Ethan and yourself, revealing deeper layers of the story. The game boasts original sprites, a haunting banda sonora, and detailed CG art by Kittyhuggins and Fangsoft. While it explores themes of death, murder, and emotional turmoil, it also includes a subtle romantic subplot—though not centered on the corpse-kissing scene. Developed by Kaye Norra (Try_Froggery) as writer and project lead, with programming by Cydewyn.
