Description

Mushihimesama, known in English as "Bug Princess," is a vertical shoot 'em up set in a stunning fantasy world. You play as Reco, a young princess who leaves her village of Hoshifuri to seek a cure from the God of the Koju—giant insect-like creatures—after her people fall to a mysterious illness. Riding her loyal beetle Kiniro, she must survive the hostile Shinju Forest. The game features five stages filled with aggressive Koju, from blazing deserts to serene caves, all rendered in beautiful HD sprite graphics. As a classic from CAVE, the pioneers of the "bullet hell" genre, Mushihimesama challenges you with dense, iconic bullet patterns and a tiny player hitbox. Choose from Arcade, Novice, or Arrange modes, and customize your play with three weapon types and two option types, ensuring a perfect challenge for any skill level.
