Gunner-chan! is a fast-paced 2.5D top-down roguelike shooter set in a base overrun by a robot uprising. Each run offers a unique map, challenging players to adapt quickly. The game features procedural generation, ensuring no two experiences are the same. Players can scavenge a variety of weapons throughout the base, each with distinct abilities, encouraging creative strategies. Ammo is scarce—there's no reloading—so every shot counts. In close combat, a beam knife becomes essential. Unlike typical twin-stick shooters, the game automatically aims at enemies within range, while dashing grants invincibility to evade attacks. Upgrade the protagonist with random gear, and use earned money to buy better equipment. After defeating bosses, unlock practice modes to hone your skills. Easy and normal modes carry over unlockable items, but Expert Mode strips everything back, demanding pure mastery.
