Description

En Garde! returns in 2023 as a swashbuckling action-adventure game set in 17th-century Spain. Play as Adalia de Volador, a bold noblewoman determined to reclaim her family's honor after their palace is seized by a shadowy mastermind and his guards. The game blends fast-paced rapier combat with acrobatic moves, letting players use every object in the environment—from tables to chandeliers—to gain the upper hand. Dialogue and wit matter too; taunting opponents adds flair to every duel. The open-level design, inspired by the student project that won multiple awards, offers around 30 minutes of story-driven action. Developed by Fireplace Games, the studio behind the original student project, En Garde! runs on Unreal Engine 4.
