Dark Auction is a fresh mystery adventure game crafted by Rika Suzuki, celebrated for her work on *Another Code/Trace Memory* and *Hotel Dusk: Room 215*. The game features art by Kohske, known for *GANGSTA*, and music by Yuko Komiyama (*Monster Hunter*) and Tsukasa Masuko (*Megami Tensei*). Directed by Shinsuke Umeda, it blends open-world exploration in a 3D castle with a unique deduction system. Players solve clues using the Word Cloud, which stores memories shared during interactions. Auctions are won not with money, but with memories, reconstructed via the EPO device. However, distorted or incomplete memories can sabotage bids. Noah, the protagonist, must repair others' memories to uncover truths behind tragic exhibits. Set in 1981 Europe, the story follows an 18-year-old haunted by his mother's abandonment, navigating a father's obsession with "Dictator X." As secrets unravel, the game's lay.
