Description

Choo-Choo Zoo is a therapeutic game designed for children aged 3 to 8, especially those undergoing therapy for cerebral palsy or brain injuries. Using two controllers, kids explore a virtual zoo, interacting with animals through fun mini-games. Activities like feeding pets, dancing with animals, and watching animated stories help improve hand-eye coordination, listening skills, and object recognition. The game supports plug-in controls via Makey Makey, with intuitive mapping for spacebar and arrow keys, and includes an adapted keyboard option for easier use. Parents can pause with the escape key, while players navigate using keyboard or mouse. Special thanks go to Dr. Sulzer, Dr. Bodner, United Cerebral Palsy, and RePlay for Kids for their contributions.
