Cambrian New Era is a browser-based survival narrative set in a fictional frontier city in Antarctica, blending exploration, resource management, and immersive worldbuilding. This early Beta release invites players to navigate a harsh polar environment through map-based traversal, time progression, and dynamic wilderness events. Manage your character's physical state, scavenge recoverable supplies, and submit resources at rescue stations to survive. The game features systems for inventory, social interactions, personal records, and an archive that deepens the lore. A local one-click launcher for Windows opens the experience directly in your browser—just extract the ZIP file and run the included.bat file, keeping the launcher/ folder intact. Note that this is a work in progress: mechanics, balance, and save compatibility may change in future updates. If the game fails to launch, please report your OS, browser, and any error screenshots.
