Description

Battle Axe drops players into a medieval fantasy world plagued by the tyranny of dark sorceress Etheldred. Set in the kingdom of Mercia, this top-down hack-and-slash adventure blends retro arcade energy with modern polish. Choose from three distinct heroes: Fae, the agile elven warrior wielding twin blades and daggers; Iolo, a bearded druid mastering fireballs and melee strikes; or Rooney, a ruthless marauder balancing close combat and long-range cannonballs. Each character brings unique skills and gear to every battle. Explore four richly designed regions filled with hordes of monsters, hidden treasures, and powerful bosses. Collect gold, upgrade weapons at the enigmatic merchant Ælfwyn, and strategize between intense waves of enemies.
