In Ascension, you take control of a sect barely surviving after near-total destruction. This cultivation 4X strategy game challenges you to rebuild from the ashes. Travel across unknown lands, discover hidden cities, and explore mysterious regions. Face powerful beasts in battle, and know that every decision you make alters your fate. Establish a lineage, learn the ways of heaven and earth, and craft incredible artifacts. Recruit outstanding cultivators, appoint the strongest to key positions, and guide them—or let them forge their own path. Danger and opportunity go hand in hand as you expand. You can pursue immortality through meditation and study, or cultivate alongside friends and ascend together. Choose between righteousness, tyranny, or evil. Follow the way of heaven or rebel against it. Other sects, bizarre beasts, evil factions, and demons all covet your resources. Whether you rely on diplomacy or force, the path you walk will determine how you rekindle your sect's lost glory.
