Asana

ASANA is a sci-fi dark comedy visual novel set in a hand-drawn world where N.E.K.O., the ship’s godlike AI, exists as a judgmental cat. You play as Captain Asana, a leader unaware of her mysterious past, navigating a universe where planets explode behind you and the enigmatic Cat-Ptain Paradox hunts you relentlessly. Choices shape your character, stats, and available options, while N.E.K.O. offers unscripted, en tiempo real AI conversations that challenge your decisions. The game features stat-based character creation with roles like Captain, Explorer, Pilot, and Charm, plus a hidden fifth skill. Branching storylines open new paths based on your traits, and every playthrough delivers unique outcomes, dialogue, and endings. With around 10 minutes per chapter across seven chapters, the game offers over three to four hours of content. Replayability is high thanks to varied stats, routes, and AI responses. Built with love in Ren’Py, ASANA is a solo dev project rooted in the ASANA webcom.
