Above: The Fallen is a 2D side-scrolling puzzle-platformer that flips traditional jugabilidad on its head by focusing on vertical movement through ancient, mystical forests. Players control both a male and female character simultaneously, navigating treacherous terrain and solving intricate puzzles to ascend toward the canopy. The game’s unique mechanic requires strategic positioning of both characters, using each half of the Gamepad for one character, adding depth and teamwork to every challenge. Set in a dark, enchanted world, the story follows a young couple sent by elders to reclaim their ancestral home from the Night King—a shadowy beast whose origins are shrouded in mystery. Humanity now lives in fear, hiding underground while the Night King hunts them. This time, the duo dares to climb upward instead of fleeing, aiming to break free from darkness and secure a safer future. Available in single-player or co-op mode, players can team up with a friend to tackle obstacles together. The game blends atmospheric storytelling with clever platforming.
