Zombu is a charming fan-made simulation game inspired by Pou, set in the vibrant world of Plants vs. Zombies 2. Care for your own little zombie, feeding it when hungry and letting it rest when tired—each action shapes its quirky daily routine. While currently in beta, the game features unique mechanics distinct from its inspiration, offering a fresh twist on virtual pet jugabilidad. Originally, a feature called "Talking Zombatar" was planned, resembling a canceled EA project but reimagined in 2D—this idea was ultimately scrapped. Built as a tribute, Zombu uses original Plants vs. Zombies assets owned by PopCap Games and Electronic Arts, and is made purely for educational and recreational purposes with no commercial intent. This project stands as a heartfelt homage to a franchise that continues to spark creativity in fans and developers alike.
