Zero-G Race

Description

Zero-G Race is a chaotic 2-player space racing game developed during a 48-hour GameJam at UQAC by a team of seven students. Built around the theme of pressure, it combines racing, strategy, and survival in a zero-gravity environment. Players control astronauts propelled by fire extinguishers, drifting through treacherous space courses filled with asteroids, black holes, and environmental hazards. Movement relies on careful gas management, with limited fuel forcing players to seek refills at scattered stations. These stations also dispense power-ups inspired by Mario Kart, letting racers gain advantages or sabotage their opponent. While rooted in its original GameJam versión, this release includes improvements and refinements beyond the initial prototype. Fast-paced and full of humor, Zero-G Race turns space survival into a competitive sprint where strategy and reflexes collide. Victory goes to the racer who masters momentum and outsmarts their rival.
