The ruins are protected by an Exclusion Zone, controlled by powerful corporations aiming to secure salvage and keep dangers at bay. Players assemble a team of three operators from nine distinct archetypes—Guardian, Assault, and Specialist—mixing and matching to create dynamic squads. Every character can shine with the right strategy, as no single hero dominates. Battles unfold with CCG-style deck-building, where each operator commands at least eight unique cards and up to twelve extra slots, requiring careful planning to avoid fatal gaps. Encounters feature MMO-inspired boss fights, from mech behemoths to experimental horrors, demanding tactical synergy. Campaign Mode challenges you to reclaim three of six fractured districts before facing the final showdown.
