Zarata Kid is a turn-based RPG where every move hinges on the roll of the dice. Developed in just 48 hours by Mehmetcan Polat and SefaYunus_ for GMTK GameJam 2022, the game blends classic RPG mechanics with a dice-driven combat system. Your character's attack, defense, and healing actions are all determined by dice rolls, making each battle a mix of strategy and luck. Choose your actions wisely—attack, defend, or heal—and press the battle button to face off against enemies. Victory comes when you reduce the enemy's health to zero. Though the game lacks animations and full dice visuals due to time constraints, its pixel art style and core mechanics shine through. Created as a passion project, Zarata Kid showcases what two developers can achieve under pressure. The game may not launch, but its concept stands as a solid foundation for future evolution.
