You are the Collectable flips the script on traditional strategy and gacha games by putting you in the role of the collectible. Instead of freely choosing your strongest units, you must fight to stay relevant—perform well or risk being replaced by newer crewmates. As you progress, you'll unlock characters like Mikan, who joins your roster and provides healing support. She'll cycle between aiding you and other teammates, returning to help you as long as you survive. The longer you last, the more valuable you remain to the player—but one misstep could see you benched for good. This meta-commentary on player behavior challenges you to earn your place in the team, encouraging empathy for the often-overlooked default units. Developed by SkyanSam with audio contributions from Terranbyte and SFX by Prox, plus music by Nooh Alavi, the game offers a clever, self-aware twist on collection mechanics.
