Xyporia
Is a creative sandbox game centered around Cyan, an otherworldly entity that falls from the fourth dimension into our own. Unable to navigate freely, players guide Cyan by mimicking the movement of objects in their environment. By selecting and holding the left mouse button over one or more objects, Cyan adopts their motion, enabling dynamic movement across the world. The game encourages exploration through inventive physics-based interactions. Players can control multiple objects simultaneously, combining their movements to launch, push, or swing Cyan in any direction. Designed during a game jam, Xyporia features a minimalist art style and intuitive mechanics. Developed by Logan Mulder (game design and modeling), Chandler Shi (programming), Valerie Chen (level design), and Daniel Thomas (narrative), the game uses free assets from Kenney.nl. A special thanks goes to JT Hampson for the tethering mechanic. The banda sonora by Ali Saneei enhances the surreal atmosphere. Experience the unique blend of physics puzzles and creative freedom in Xyp.
