Wuhan Gang is a retro-inspired, single-screen arcade hybrid that blends puzzle, platforming, and shooter elements into one intense experience. Created for the SyntaxBomb competition (7th February – 18th April 2021), the game follows a covert team sent to investigate a secret underground lab linked to mysterious, virus-related incidents. Choose from four playable characters—Hawk, Jax, MJ, or Dave—and fight through waves of lab defenses and grotesque mutants. Your mission: gather crucial evidence, rescue any survivors, and neutralize the threat. The game supports local co-op play, though at least one joypad is required to team up. With tight controls, pixel-perfect action, and a distinct 80s arcade vibe, Wuhan Gang delivers fast-paced challenges and strategic combat. The developer welcomes feedback, video playthroughs, and bug reports to help refine the experience. Every mission counts in the race to expose the truth behind the outbreak.
