Wormhole Experiment VR is a compact and immersive VR puzzle experience set in the vastness of space. Step into the role of an explorer tasked with journeying through a mysterious wormhole to uncover what lies beyond. Your mission: scan the alien system and make it back to Earth—assuming everything goes according to plan. Developed over a year as a thesis project by two students, the game showcases atmospheric 3D design, spatial audio, and polished visuals, with one developer focusing on art and sound, and the other handling VR implementation using SteamVR and Unity. Built for HTC Vive and compatible with Oculus Rift, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality, it requires SteamVR to play. If any tools malfunction, check your controller bindings in SteamVR's settings under the Tools tab. A brief but engaging test of curiosity and nerve in the void of space.
