Wonderful Story is a prototype deck-building game blending tactical combat and exploration, drawing inspiration from titles like Slay the Spire, Foretales, and even chess. Take control of three unique characters, each with their own customizable deck and special abilities, as you battle enemies and navigate a branching world. The game features an early versión of its exploration system, where players reveal cards to uncover events, and a dialogue system that hints at deeper narrative possibilities. Combat is strategic: use left-click to play spell cards and trigger effects, or right-click to move your character on the battlefield. Press C to reset your card choices during fights. In exploration mode, click on cards to reveal their contents and interact with area-change buttons to progress. While still in development, Wonderful Story offers a promising mix of tactical depth and narrative intrigue. This evolving prototype showcases a fresh twist on the deck-builder genre.
