Withering Rooms drops players into a relentless 2.5D horror RPG set inside the ever-shifting halls of Mostyn House, a Victorian mansion that transforms every night. Explore procedurally generated rooms filled with loot—weapons, magical relics, keys, and crafting supplies—to survive and thrive. Face a terrifying array of monsters and bosses, from towering undead to cunning witches and axe-wielding madmen. Uncover hidden passages, treasure-laden attics, and the mysterious Byzantine Labyrinth beneath the mansion. Survive death by performing rituals to safeguard your gear or level up permanently. Interact with a quirky cast of characters—merchants, liars, witches—each with their own motives. Cast spells creatively: set hex traps, enchant armor, or summon decoy duplicates. Venture beyond the mansion into hedge mazes, tombs, caves, and ruins for bigger rewards. The game has been fully tested on Steam Deck and meets Valve's compatibility.
