![[WIP] Unnamed Mecha Game Prototype](https://img.itch.zone/aW1nLzExMTY2MDU1LnBuZw==/original/ys1a9y.png)
Description
This early prototype of a mecha game was built in just four days during a school workshop, prioritizing core jugabilidad over polished visuals or intricate level design. Players control a mech using intuitive inputs: movement via the left stick or mouse, camera control with the mouse, and shooting with the left or right trigger. The pilot's actions—like boosting, reloading, and jumping—are mapped to standard controller buttons, making it accessible for most players. However, the experience comes with some known issues: the mech fails to respawn after exiting, drones may move unpredictably, turrets occasionally vanish during combat, and the controller may not respond properly in menus. Despite these bugs, the game offers a solid foundation for future development. It features a clear objective: progress through levels, destroy enemies, and reach the final goal. The project credits several open-source assets, including a 50cal machine gun and a railgun, both available under Creative Commons licenses. This prototype is a promising start for fans of mecha action and PC gaming.
