Description
Developed in a real bomb shelter in Kharkiv, *What's Up in a Kharkiv Bomb Shelter* is a deeply personal experience shaped by the realities of war. The game's creator began working on it during moments of fear and uncertainty, using it as a way to cope with the constant sounds of explosions and sirens overhead. Set in a shelter environment, it reflects the anxiety and resilience of those living through conflict. Through interviews with people in similar situations across Ukraine, the game captures authentic emotions and thoughts, offering a glimpse into daily survival. While not designed purely for entertainment, it aims to provide a sense of connection and understanding. Players step into the shoes of ordinary individuals enduring extraordinary circumstances. The banda sonora, featuring realistic war sounds, adds to the immersive atmosphere. This project highlights the power of storytelling as a tool for processing trauma. It's a tribute to those who endured, and a reminder of the human spirit's strength. The game stands as both a witness and a voice for those who lived through the chaos. It invites players to reflect on resilience and hope.
