Description
Werewolf is a retro-inspired platformer built with Pixel Game Maker MV during a high school game jam. Players control the werewolf character using intuitive keyboard and controller inputs: jump (Z/A/X), bite (Y/X/□), run (hold X while moving), and lunge (X while jumping up). The lunge mechanic is dynamic—holding a direction creates an arced motion, while a single press triggers a straight forward charge. The game emphasizes fluid movement and creative level design, with development spanning just two weeks. Art assets were crafted by Ansimuz and FinalBossBlues, supported by custom fonts from SomePX. The banda sonora and sound effects, created by rubberduck, artisticdude, HydroGene, and Nooskewl Games, are fully CC0-licensed. Credits roll after completing the game, celebrating the collaborative spirit of indie development. This project showcases how creativity and teamwork can turn a simple idea into a polished experience. Are you ready to unleash your inner werew.
