Waves of Turmoil

Description

In *Waves of Turmoil*, you and up to three players take on the role of riot police officers tasked with maintaining order during intense civil unrest. Work together to protect a politician delivering a speech, holding the line against escalating waves of protesters. Command your squad, deploy tactical assets like a water cannon truck, and use non-lethal force—including batons, shotguns, and gas grenades—to push back the crowd. Both rioters and your team have morale: beat back the chaos enough and they'll retreat, but lose control and the situation spirals. Money is shared in co-op, so coordinate your strategy wisely. Originally created in just 48 hours for Global Game Jam 2017 by Convoy Games and Friends, the game delivers frantic, team-based defense with simple controls and emergent chaos. It may have rough edges, but the tension is real—how long can you keep the speech going? Our best run lasted just under 13 minutes. Can you beat it?
