Wapple Quest is a retro-inspired 3D platformer that reimagines a forgotten prototype from a pivotal moment in gaming history. In the early '90s, as Sony and Nintendo's partnership unraveled, a secret Sony-backed project emerged—one that never saw the light of day. Developed by the fictional Shark Grin Studios, this prototype was meant to showcase the 3D power of a standalone Sony console, but it was abandoned due to technical inexperience and corporate upheaval. Now reimagined by Sean Flannigan, Wapple Quest captures the charm and jank of early 3D attempts, blending it with modern accessibility. Play solo or with up to four friends using gamepads, or dive in with keyboard controls ([WASD + Q] and [Arrows + Ctrl/Space]).
