Description

Walden is a charming, handcrafted puzzle experience born from the Go Godot Jam 2021, centered around the theme of growth. Created by a two-person team, this mouse- or touch-driven game blends casual jugabilidad with light puzzle elements, guiding players through a series of branching paths. Each successful journey rewards you with one of 48 unique plants to grow in your personal garden—a living high-score board that expands with your collection. Even failed attempts yield plants, though you can remove any at will, potentially affecting your unlock progress upon reload. Featuring randomized obstacles, dynamic backgrounds, and shifting colors, no two playthroughs feel the same. Built entirely in Godot during the jam, Walden showcases skeleton2D animations, particle effects, and custom art and music—all developed from scratch. Designed for 1080p, native versions are recommended for persistent garden saves. Playing Walden isn't just about nurturing plants—it's about seeing how far you've come.
