Description

VRScouting invites players to step into the shoes of a young scout on an immersive adventure through the wilderness. Designed to spark children's curiosity about nature, this VR experience presents four engaging challenges that teach essential outdoor survival skills. Guided by a helpful companion, players explore serene forests, complete tasks, and earn medals as they progress. The app aims to introduce the scouting lifestyle in a fun, interactive way, helping kids discover if scouting could become a true passion. Simple controls allow easy navigation—walk, run, crouch, jump, and interact with items using intuitive VR mechanics. Players can open their diary to track progress, collect tools, and craft new items. Created by a team of students from the Virtual Reality course in the Master's program of Cinema and Media Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, VRScouting combines education and adventure in a captivating virtual environment.
