Description

VREZ is a VR homage to the iconic Dreamcast title Rez, created for the Leap Motion #3DJam. Still in development, this immersive experience captures the essence of its inspiration while integrating motion-controlled jugabilidad through Leap Motion and Oculus Rift support. Compatible with Oculus SDK 1.3 and Leap Motion ORION, the current versión doesn't include Image Hands but offers intuitive hand-tracking mechanics. Players use their hands to target enemies and form a fist to shoot, adding a physical layer to the on-rails shooting action. A key mechanic involves destroying incoming bombs before they reach you, testing reflexes and precision. For setup, press R to reset tracking by facing the Oculus sensor with the headset on. While not perfectly in sync with rhythm elements yet, improvements are ongoing. VREZ delivers a fresh, hands-on twist to a cult classic.
